Why aren’t Fixed speed, fixed load BLDC pump controller ICs available off-the-shelf?
If the pumping motor speed is always fixed (say 8000rpm), and it only ever pumps water…(a fixed load), then this is a very common, and simple application…so why aren’t controller ICs for this available off the shelf?
Probably because no one wants fixed speed, fixed load. If I wanted an IC that that has fixed speed at 6000 rpm and a fixed load, I would want, at most, 10 ICs? How is it profitable just to make 10 ICs? Everyone wants something different. That’s why they make ICs that are versatile. You would need to add components to that IC to suit your application.
