Dear Sparkfun Community,
I have bought 2 Femtobuck LED drivers to replace the LED driver on my current system(Which drives 3 LEDs each and LED current is 600mA).
Since it is replacing my current LED driver, I need to use them in common anode mode. I wonder if there is any problem and what kind of problem it can cause.
If anyone has this experience, please let me know.
Gracias!
I’m not sure if the common anode configuration will cause any harm, but you’ll want to close the SJ2 jumper for LED current of 600mA
Per the [hookup guide, you can’t use the Femtobuck with a common cathode or common anode LED.
Note that the LEDs are wired separately to each FemtoBuck! This is very important; the output of each FemtoBuck must be completely isolated from any other! That means that RGB LEDs with “common” pins (common anode or common cathode) cannot be used with the FemtoBuck!
