Hello,
I am currently working with the FS3000 Air Velocity Sensor for an industrial application that involves operation in ambient air environments where dust and humidity may be present. I would like to clarify a few points regarding proper sensor maintenance and handling:
Cleaning:
Over time, the sensor may be exposed to dust accumulation or light moisture.
Is it safe to clean the sensor surface with isopropyl alcohol (IPA), and if so, are there specific cleaning or drying procedures recommended?
Moisture and Humidity Handling:
What is the recommended way to protect the sensor from high humidity or water condensation in long-term use?
Would you recommend using any particular enclosure or filtration material to minimize moisture effects while maintaining airflow accuracy?
Maintenance Detection:
Are there any diagnostic indicators, output patterns, or calibration checks that could help identify when the sensor’s performance has degraded and requires cleaning or replacement?
We plan to deploy this sensor in ambient industrial environments (e.g., HVAC monitoring and general air movement analysis), so guidance on proper maintenance and environmental protection would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your time and assistance.
Looking forward to your expert recommendations.
