FTDI Clones

Hello,

Does anyone know where I can buy a cloned FTDI chip? I want a known failure I can test against to see if I can get the FTDI drivers working under ndiswrapper on Linux, and if they’ll fail how I expect them to.

They are going to be really hard to find at legitimate shops like SparkFun, Adafruit, Digi-Key and Mouser but you might check some of the Amazon stores that carry cheap electronics. Look for prices that are too good to be true, they are almost certainly clones. You’re also likely to run into the clones on Ebay and Alibaba.
