Garmin LIDAR-Lite v4 LED Not Responding

I’m having an issue with the Garmin LIDAR-Lite v4 LED (qwiic). It has been working fine connected to my redboard for several months now, however I unplugged it to make an adjustment to my code but now all I see is "Device did not acknowledge! Freezing”. I’ve tried my new code, the old code I was using, and then with the examples provided by SparkFun and I still get the same result. The red LED on the LiDAR is still illuminated and there is still the occasional flash where the LiDAR emits the light, so it appears to be functioning like normal in that regard. I’ve also tried swapping out the QWIIC cable without any luck there either.

Try disabling the i2c pull-up resistors (they can re-enabled easily) mentioned at the bottom of the guide here https://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/ga … e-overview and see if it becomes detectable again

Looks like I found my problem, when the cable became detached, there was two pins on the qwiic sensor that ended up getting bent and touching. Bending them back and using the other connector seems to solve the problem!
