I have make a pcb and soldered GE863-GPS that PCB.
In that, i am getting the GPS data from the NMEA port and no data replied by the module when i issue AT#GPSACP command.
I have connected GPS control serial port and Sirf binary serial port(TX_BIN_GPS) and (Rx_Bin_GPS) pins.
I dont have Oscilloscope, so i tested with multimeter. I found that all serial ports(both Tx & Rx pin) has the output voltage of 2.8voltage wrt ground. But the Tx_Bin_GPS (ball no:80) donot show any voltage. Is it problem?

Can we check serial post using multimeter?

Please suggest any other way to check, whether that ball has soldered properly & how to check serial port.
please help me to rectify this as i have to complete this project quickly.
