I am trying to turn on the GE864 module but it will not turn on. The configuration is 3.8v (L5793D switcher) and only Tx/Rx are connected. When I give the pulse on ON_OFF the LED turn on for a short while (basically as long as the ON_OFF pulse is there) and then turns off. What could be wrong? I even tried connecting it to my bench supply at 3.8v (to check if it was a current issue) but same result. Thanks.
The GE863 needs a large capacitor directly across the supply pins for it to start up properly. The GE864 might be similar.
