GE865 Breakout and SIM Card Failure

Has anybody been able to get the GE865 Breakout board to work?

I get a SIM Card Error when sending the AT+CPIN? command. I have used the SIM card on a cell phone and a GE863 board so I know the SIM card is valid and operational. Any ideas?

there seems to be some kind of decoupling/filtering using capacitors on all sim card connections. have you followed that.

Yep, I’m using the GE865 breakout board and those caps are per Telit’s specification. I am wondering how many people have gotten the GE865 board to work?

I’m looking into sim card decoupling capacitors, trying to figure it all out. Do you have any info on sim card decoupling capacitor usage? (besides the link above?)
