GM862-GPS "freeze" problem

Hi,i start using GM862-GPS for the asset tracking project,now it seems i meet a problem on CHARGE pin.

Actually,we don’t have the backup battery solution,so i connect this pin to Ground.In about one month testing, the GM862-GPS seems irregular “freeze”:GSM can’t be communicated for several times.After ON/OFF the module,the issue disappear.

Besides the power supply stability,does the CHARGE pin connection have any tricksy impact on the GM862-GPS function and performance?coz i don’t have the charging circuit schematic of GM862-GPS on hand,it’s hard to analyze this problem.

Any help is appreciated a lot.look forward to your reply.

We are having a similar issue on a bus based system.

Have you solved the issue please ? If so would you mind telling me how ?
