I would like to mount the antenna at the peak of my house’s roof. I believe that to route the cable from the roof to inside the house is more than 10m. Is it possible to connect two of the SMA Male to SMA Female cables (CAB-17495) and still receive adequate signal to the receiver (GPS-RTK Dead Reckoning pHAT for Raspberry Pi GPS-16475)? Or do I need to get a custom cable made?
There could be too much attenuation in a cable that long, only way to know would be to give it a try and see what happens. If you give it a try, please tell us how it went.
