GPS-18037 communications via UART

I run a GPS-6MV2 from my Pro Micro via the UART. No problems. I want to upgrade to the GPS-18037, which has a uBlox M10S. I have 3.3V, ground, and TX connected from the GPS. The PWR LED is on and the PPS LED is flashing about once per second. My software says it is seeing the correct NEMA header but all fields are null. I’ve tried all BAUDs from 9600 to 115200 with no change in result. I run 8 bits, no parity, 1 stop bit.

Has anyone successfully communicated with the GPS-18037 via UART?

Thanks in advance,
Rick

If possible, test with a different microcontroller or a USB-to-TTL adapter connected to a serial terminal (like PuTTY or RealTerm). If the fields are still null, the issue might be with the GPS configuration.

Thanks for your help! You got me back on track, and I figured out that I was out of date on NEMA notation. My old GPS was only GPS, so the header was GPGGA, but the new GPS uses multiple GPS systems, so it is GNGGA. This new GPS with an active antenna comes up blindingly fast, even inside my home.
