I’ve got a Delorme BlueLogger GPS unit that I really like. It has the ability to configure when GPS data is logged. You can specify the log interval for speed or distance ranges. For example, you can log a lat/long coordinate every mile you travel when you are going faster than 50 mph, and log a lat/long every 0.1 miles when going slower than 10 mph. You can also tell it the time interval to log when above or below speeds.
Unfortunately, it refuses to log data these days. The GPS/bluetooth part still works perfectly, though.
Delorme has discontinued this product and I can’t find anyone else making one.
It looks like the gps logger v2.4 would be a great replacement if it only had bluetooth and a li-ion rechargable battery.
