Hi!. I’m student and I bought two of GPS RTK2 modules (ZED-F9G) and I interested in those modules because I required them for my graduation project. I’m inexperienced in this kind of topic although I read some documents. And I have some questions regarding the precision and configuration mode, correction source. After I read the hook guide and others references like integration manual (ZED F9G) and blogs, I have tried to configure the modules.
When I connect one module to my PC (with the antenna), I can communicate with any problems. I follow the instructions from manual and blogs. I understand if I don’t have an available correction source (from company or another one) I need to configure a module like a rover and the other like a base station.
One form is obtaining the corrections from NTRIP. The example mentioned that I need to connect the rover+Bluetooth+NTRIP from cellphone app.
And I understood that another form to obtain the RTCM data is have base and rover. If I configure correctly the module I can connect the TX UART 1 base to RX UART 2 rover for communicating RTCM data with the principle main to obtain high accuracy. Therefore, I can send the RTCM from base station to rover.
I have read blogs and manuals, and watched videos about to configure the two modules but the problem I don’t have the 10mm accuracy. I configure the module in the U-central from u-blox. But the problem is that I don’t have the 10mm accuracy. I see how locate the module and seem that de module moves around in meters (sometimes 10m) when the module is not moved. Then I intended different forms (the majority have similar instructions) and the result is the same.
The principal doubts that I have are:
-
Is it correct the form that I connect the rover and base station?
-
What is the correct configuration If I use the rover and base station?
-
How can I ensure the high accuracy ?
Also I read some question and answer in the forum that could probably be useful. But I don’t see anyone useful. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. Probably I don’t configure correctly the module.
