Ground Plane for NEO-M8P-2 Arduino shield

Dear all,

I am designing an Arduino shield for a NEO-M8P-2. Is it advisable to put a ground plane on the bottom copper on the shield to ground from any EMI generated by the ARDUINO UNO.
