The GS405 Helical GPS has one pin which is an LED output which according to the manual says it communicates the status of the GPS…
But the manual does not go into any details on this point…
I am after a 1pps signal which I assume is what happens when this gps is locked on, but I need to confirm this before I make the purchase.
The other SirfIII GPS modules clearly label their 1PPS pins and I am using them with success at the moment, but this helical GPS would suit my application better… Anyone got one that can verify the LED blinks once per second when locked??
