Hello Sparkfun Team,
This is regarding a problem we are facing with PureThermal Mini Pro JST-SR (with FLIR Lepton 3.5).
Issue:
- When we start video feed using the mentioned product, in the video feed for some of the cameras we see the heat signature for previous frame stuck over real time video feed.
Please help us resolve this issue as we need to fix this urgently.
My first guess is that you are maxing out the memory for whatever is running…Does the same occur if you run a smaller frame size/resolution?
Ok I’ll try reducing the resolution too.
But, still I don’t think it’s the resolution problem as the we are using this for a project in which we had about 170 cameras but this problem is with only 12 out of them.
Can you suggest some gstreamer pipeline or some application with configurations to check whether these 12 cameras are ok or not?
Not at that level of complexity lol…I’d try putting a pattern to the 12 units that are misbehaving (are they on the same comm lines, share a power supply type, etc)
You could also try reducing the frame rate…though again, you’d need to isolate the testing to known-good vs known-bad units
It also may be shoddy cables…swap a known-good one in as well for testing
