Notes: Hello! I am writing on behalf of Yale University’s CubeSat team. Currently, we are in the process of integrating a motor into our satellite, but our current motor controller is not powerful enough. Our current controller operates at a max of 1.5A per channel and between 3V and 11V. We would like a motor controller that can sustain 3.5A and at least 4.5V. Additionally, it must be controllable by I2C, TTL UART, or SPI. Do you know of such a product?
Not that we sell…that voltage range and amp spec are in a pretty strange spot, retail-wise. I looked around for a minute online, everything I saw rated for 3A or more continuous was 5.5v minimum (with most options being way higher spec)
You might need to build something :-/
