I would like to submit and order from batchpcb.com tonight, but before I do I need to add ICSP ports to this chip so I can program it. What is the best way to do this? Would you mind doing it for me?
Can’t get anything from the link but I know this is for a PIC.
I do recommend adding a 0.1in 5pin header for ICSP that matches the pin-out of the PICKit2 programmer. The details are in several Microchip docs. This makes it very easy to plug the PICKit onto your board and program the PIC. Check the
Well I looked at your board and just got a few pointers:
There seems to be a short on one of your resitors (R9)
Some of your componets aren’t on the same grid, meaning you must have moved some of your compoenets around, although this isn’t a big deal its best to make sure all your parts line up on a .05 inch grid.
You have vias under pads, I wouldn’t do this (especially when the paths are on the same layers as the pads, just not needed) don’t know if you can do this, maybe someone else can shed some light on this.
try avoding 90 degree angles. Using 45 is alot better and try to stick to only 90 or 45.
Do you have a schematic? Its easy to check mistakes if you use on. You might also want to consider reattaching you board as a .jpg file so more people will see it.
