Help with Sparkfun Eagle Tutorial - Incorrect Library

I am having the same problem as 2 other people who have tried the Eagle tutorial.

https://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/us … ematic/all

"I can’t find the first component POWER_JACKPTH returns no results. POWER_JACKPTH returns 3 options POWER_JACKPTH_BREAD, POWER_JACKPTH_LOCK AND POWER_JACKPTH_COMBO

I Have gone into the repository and replaced the library with the latest version, the 6.6 release and the 7.7 release and am still not able to find this part and a number of other parts such as CAPPTH, RESISTORPTH-1/4W, M081X08, AVR_SPI_PRG_6PTH etc. (with and without wildcards)."

Can somebody please either point me to the correct Sparkfun library for this tutorial, or update the tutorial itself. It would be a great tutorial if the matching library was available.

Hi Sparky.

Yeah, the tutorial does need some updating. It was written quite a long time ago and a lot has changed in our libraries since the tutorial was published. Hopefully we can get to re-writing that at some point.

If you look in the SparkFun-Connectors library, pick just plain POWER_JACK from the list (the one with POWER_JACK_PTH as a description) and that will work with part number [PRT-00119 and is the same connector used in the tutorial.
