Help with WRL-08948/WRL-08945 RF transmitter/receiver

Hello there! I need a bit of assistance regarding the WRL-08948/WRL-08945 RF transmitter/receiver unit.

I have been commissioned to create several wireless N64 controllers. The N64 (Nintendo 64. An old game console, if you are so out of the loop) uses a single line to transmit data back to the console. I simply need to take that line, and make it wireless. Will wiring the data line from the controller cable into the data-in on the transmitter, and then the receivers data-out into the console, work? If more info is needed, i can post more. :smiley:

Would it be better to use the 434mhz transmitter/reciever combo than the 315mhz units?
