Hi there. First of all I want to apologize if I’m posting this in a wrong category, I’ve been searching and I didn’t find any suitable sub-forum for Machine Learning and AI, but as I got the board for the virtual workshop “What’s that smell” I think this forum can be fine.
I received the Himax WE-I Plus board yesterday and I started to play around with it and completing the previous “Adding sight to your sensors”, and I found that the FTDI chip gets quite hot. Not burning hot, but pretty hot. I’m a bit worried about this because in Arduino boards the FTDI getting hot usually means some voltage problems.
Is it OK? Does the FTDI chip gets hot after using it during an hour or so? Is my board having problems?
