Dear friend,
I am very new to electronics and stuck for months with a simple problem although I could not find answer to it on the web. I am probably searching with the wrong words.
I have a compact mother board with processor and graphics card integrated, as well as a 10" screen bought for the same project. The screen has a board as well and both motherboard and screen’s board require AC/DC adaptor to power. But the screen does not actually use that much electricity so my need is to power the screen’s board through the motherboard, that way I can make the whole portable and power it through adapted batteries and/or ac adaptor.
Can you help me ?
Connection from the mb to the sb use LVDS, but I am afraid only the wires to transfer image information are set, I believe it is possible to transfer electricity to power the screen through LVDS but because it goes through the screen’s board first, the power driven through is not enough. I cannot take off the screen’s board either because the screen is not recognized by windows otherwise. I tried to export data of the screen and replace the data offered by windows so it would recognize it but it did not work unfortunatly …
Help, thank you !!!
