how can i use a single usart for gps and gsm simultaneously

hai…

we working with position tracking and sending it to a mobile with the help of gsm modem.

we could manage to send sms from the gsm modem and we managed to get the values of the latitude and longitude and other details from gps seperately these two projects are working and now, we tried to interface both the things i mean to say receive the values from gps and send to a mobile through gsm modem.

I am working with ATMEGA 2560 with GPS AND GSM MODEM.

so please help me

The easy answer might be that the M2560 has 4 usarts; simply don’t put both devices on the same usart.
