Hi,
I have configured my MAX M10S GNSS module (SparkFun GNSS Receiver Breakout - MAX-M10S (Qwiic)) to use the GPS, Galileo and BeiDou satellite constellations. Now I would also like to use the SBAS (EGNOS) signal to improve the position accuracy. I am using the u-center-2 application for testing. The “Satellite Signal View” shows that three SBAS signals (S123, S127 & S136) are received, but they are not used for positioning (see ublox-max-m10-dashboard). Their status is displayed as “Not used”. I have activated SBAS in the CFG-SBAS configuration. “Fix mode” shows “3D fix”, but no SBAS.
Which configurations do I have to make so that the SBAS signals are taken into account?
It looks like SBAS is working fine. The reported horizontal accuracy is (I think) 18cm. And the fix type reported in the GNGGA message is “2” (DGNSS). I think “3D fix” is just how u-center2 reports the fix type. If you switch to classic u-center, it should show “3D/DGNSS” in the Fix Mode.
Also, try refreshing NAV-SIG. Your data is 126771 second old! You need to poll it manually to update it. Or set it to periodic, so it updates automatically every second.
