I bought this solder paste off ebay and it came in this 600 gram syringe cartridge.
It looks like I need something like a caulk gun with a plunge and a tip to dispense it.
Anyone know where I can get one?
I’ve found the best method (apart from using a laser-cut Mylar / Kapton stencil) is to use a small (1-3cc) syringe, with the needle from an inkjet refilling kit (after cleaning with alcohol). Normal hyperdermic needles tend to be way too fine to allow solder paste to flow.
You can also purchase syringe tips from the likes of smallparts.com, which come in various gauges.
