Try Googling “rca digital converter smart antenna”. Apparently these are antennas that can be used in high signal strength areas to address multipath issues. In the analog days, multipath expressed itself as ghosting. These antennas can be electronically rotated and have adjustable gain settings.
It would be nice if there is a good smart antenna we can use to get better reception for our terrestrial digital TV set, instead of heavy reliance of cable TV. In fact, just so we can get digital terrestrial digital TV through cable, we have to pay more. Yuck.
