Hi,
I found the currently offered housing enclosure STEP file for the RTK Postcard with Portability Shield does not appear to be deep enough to house it if headers and pins are soldered on to connect the two components together like is shown in the blog video for the RTK Postcard, so was wondering how to get the deeper version of the STEP file.
I 3D printed the enclosure housing STEP file listed on the Hardware Overview and GitHub pages (text inside the file listing the name as “Postcard Housing 2 v10 - Fixed SD.step”). The 3D printed enclosure housing snapped together measures about 18mm as the outer dimension for thickness. However soldering on headers and pins to the RTK Postcard with Portability Shield and connecting them together results in a unit that is 20+mm thick, so unfortunately doesn’t fit in the 18mm thick enclosure using the provided STEP file. The thickness seems to be in line with the SparkFun RTK Postcard product page video with the assembly shown at the 5:16 mark and the housing enclosure thickness shown at the 5:26 mark.
However, in the SparkFun blog video for the RTK Postcard (at 1:09) it appears that a thicker housing enclosure is used there based on how the antenna lines up with the enclosure, that would possibly accommodate the different headered assembly shown in the blog video (at 0:42).
Would it be possible to get the STEP file for the larger housing enclosure that was used in the blog video? Thanks!
