I am trying to make a weather ballon that records data with an arduino and sensors would that work and if so how.
ps the flight is like 6-8 hours

Yes it would work, I’m planning on launching one with an arduino running various experiments 7/2/11. You just get yourself an arduino, whatever sensors you want to use (barometric pressure, magnetometer, temperature, etc) and an SD card hooked up to the arduino to record all the data. Write the code to make them play nice, put in a radio /gps to keep track of the thing, and off you go.
