HTTP service not running on Connectport X2

Hi,

I have a ConnectPort X2 that I want to run some python code on. From the Digi documentation it seems that I need the web interface running to upload my python files to the device. However, I cannot access the device using a web browser.

I can telnet and check the service status. Sure enough, the HTTP service is not running on the device. Here is the output for set service command:

I have tried rebooting the device and “revert service” to default the device to start HTTP, but they have not worked. Here is some information from display device that might be useful.

Firmware Version : 2.13.0.10 (Version 82002458_B 05/02/2011)

Post Version : 1.1.3 (release_82002307_D)

I use the X2 and X4’s.

Reset the X2 to factory defaults… using the push button.

It will use DHCP to get an address. Your router will tell you what that address is, in your LAN.

Then take a PC’s browser to that address.

The X4’s ship with a static IP address as factory default:

The web server is enabled by default.

If reset to defaults doesn’t work, make sure your PC’s software firewall is off. Then call Digi’s tech support.
