I have a problem with the Excellon CAM job in Eagle.

Hi,

I just finished my board on Eagle. I´ve generated the gerber and drill files.

But when I try to view all my layers in Viewmate the drill files don’t match the

top and bottom layers. The board looks really small compared to the holes’ location on the screen.

My best guess is the Excellon CAM job generates the *.drd file in mils, and

viewmate reads the file as inches.

How do I solve this? Thanks in advance.

Hello,

May be someone is having, had or will have a problem like mine. So, here´s

how I solve this problem or unknown situation in Viewmate, at least, to me.

Instead of clicking on file>import>drill & route files (shift+F2) and trying to

guess the right combination for right/left to decimal values in the options

window. Just click on File>import>guess(F4). This window will help you a lot!

Like it did to me  Now all my files are displayed correctly in different layers.

It’s me again, jeje. The manufacturers can deal with 3.3 format in the excellon file? or it is necessary to switch to 2.4? In eagle, how do I switch from 3.3 to 2.4?
