IAR LPC2378-STK NSEL value loaded with 0

Hello,

I am new to this forum and I’m in awe looking at the sea of information available here. Kudos.

I have a peculiar problem with my IAR LPC2378-STK kit since yesterday. I was working on setting the PLL configuration and accidentally set the value of NSEL as 0. 0 is an illegal value for NSEL. The moment that I programmed the chip with EWARM 5.4 USB Jtag, the program froze. Post that I tried re-flashing the kit but it just kept bringing up the following errors, in the same order.

  1. Jtag timeout during adaptive clocking:RTCK did not respond. ----> clicked ‘abort’

  2. Fatal error: Scan chain length is expected to be 4 or 5. Found(0). Session aborted

  3. Failed to load flash loader:c:\Program files\IAR Systems.…\NXP\FlashNXPLPC512K2.flash

I tried other example programs eg: LCD demo but it kept bringing-up the same errors.

Help!!
