IMU 6 DOF Unit, sorry about repost

Hrm, my last post about this got cut off somehow… apologies.

I’m having a problem with the configuration menu on the IMU 6 DOF unit. I’m able to connect to the unit via bluetooth, and I did the initial setup without a hitch - sending the commands to remotely set the baud rate of the BlueSMiRF to 57600/8/N/1. I confirmed this with the ATSI command, it was validated, and then I reset the module and was shown the configuration menu.

This is where I’m stuck.

Basically, that menu has 3 submenus, accessed by pressing [1] [2] [3] or ^g to start the unit. However, pressing any of these key (or key combos) doesn’t seem to have any response or affect. Is there something else I need to be doing?

I’ve tried connecting via both hyperterminal on the PC and using screen through the terminal on the mac - both yeild the same problem. With hyperterminal, I’ve tried connecting at both 9600 and 57600.

If anyone can help me out, I’d really appreciate it.

had the device in debug mode… jeez I’m such a spaz.

However, if anyone can help with connecting to the IMU mixer, that would be awesome.

Basically, I set the module to binary, and all channels are being output… then I ran it. I disconnected from screen, then started up the IMU mixer app, and connected to COM 9, which is where I established the bluetooth serial connection with the BlueSMiRF…

However, it just hangs on “Connecting to the Remote IMU” and doesn’t ever establish communications. I know the COM 9 is right, cause I can connect to the device via hyperterminal that way…

Any thoughts? Thanks!
