if anyone knows some links to information regarding increasing RFID range I would really appreciate it, I’m looking to be able to read an RFID tag from about 7-10 feet using the RFID reader from sparkfun and an RFID chip
A passive reader will not be able to scan a tag at that distance. You would need an antennae of equal size to read it.
There are however active systems that have much greater ranges.
