Intermittant Antenna GPS-14986 (order# 5830626)

I purchased an antenna item number GPS-14986 which arrived a couple of days ago. I connected to my UBlox MAX8-based GPS system which provides 3.2V power to the antenna. The system runs for maybe 4 hours and then I get no reception. I have tried bending the wire at various points but I can’t associate such movements with the antenna working/not working. I have another antenna that I can substitute for the GPS-14986 and the substitute antenna runs with no issues.

I’m pretty certain that there is an intermittent fault with the GPS-14986 I received and wish to have the item replaced.

Yeah, that could be a bad antenna. I’ll get a replacement sent out. :slight_smile:

Replacement ticket # 12728 has been issued. A customer service representative will process the ticket and send a replacement part out free of charge using a similar shipping method you used for your original order. You should also receive an E-mail notification that the replacement is on the way. Please retain but do not send your device back at this time.
