Most of the time, you don’t need a tool…
Simply align the flat cable on the socket, click the cap and carefully squish it.
The tops of the pins just cut through the insulation and connect to the core.
Have you got the sockets? If so, can we have a linky to check?

Yup, they look fairly standard. Try what i said in the previous post.
You can squish them in a wooden jaw vice.
