ISSUE WITH OLED QWICC INTERFACE TO ARDUINO UNO BOARD(S)

Dear Sirs,

I have already posted my question/issue, I do not see how to append this information to the previous post, but essentially this is a continuation to the issue with order #: 5600402, in which I wish to simply return the hardware purchased for a full refund and should not be penalized for receiving misleading data from your web-site… the Arduino UNO compatible board that U sell, which as this I2C Qwiic interface/level-shifter hardware does NOT appear to be compatible with this 128x128 ZIO OLED board…

I can compile with other boards, such as an Adruino Atmeg2560, which then has sufficient SRAM for controller this OLED display, however then I would have to build-up a 5V - to 3.3V I2C level shifter, which defeats the purpose of buying your UNO board with the Qwiic interface…!!!

Hence I would like to simply return this hardware, 8the UNO boar, OLEFD board + Qwiic I/F/extender cable + misc bread boarding hardware. see the order number for details)… That is, unless U can provide working/proven code example(s) that work properly with this OLED display + Arduino UNO CPU board, with Qwiic I/F in it.

Rgds,

Victoria M. Levy

Please provide a return shipping-label for the order: 5600402. I have been struggling with trying to get contact anyone at your customer service number, and have [unfortunately] had virtually ZERO help in resolving this issue… The OLED display may work with very limited performance, that is without addition external hardware, using a higher performance CPU board, with much > SRAM… thus very limited performance AT BEST with an Arduino UNO, or UNO clone… Thus, rather than struggling with this, and obtaining compiler issues, limitations and limited performance, AT BEST, I simply wish to obtain authorization to return this hardware, and not be penalized for shipping cost, since these issues are NOT the customer fault…!!! As soon as it arrives at our facility, our shipping/receiving dept. has bee informed to not sign for the package and have the carrier to immediately return it back to U in Colorado… Unfortunately, I must simply at this point, “chalk-this-up” to a bad experience with your web-site and overall tech. support…! Credit-card company is also following-up on this as well, al I ask is that under the circumstances, I am not charged with return shipping charge… U will receive an unopened package/box, and thus full refund should be issued…

Rgds,

Victoria M. Levy

Give them a chance - it is a weekend and Christmas/New Years week and they have been off for the holidays.

While I haven’t tried it, https://github.com/bitbank2/ssd1327 looks like it may work on a smaller ATMega. u8g2 may also work but it will be tight. Ideally, you will need either an external SRAM or FRAM, or a larger processor for full features.

Vickie, we have you taken care of according to my records. If we can do anything else for you, let me know.

Cheers for now.
