When I boot up the Nano with monitor, mouse and keyboard all is well. Sometimes I can use VNC to login, but the VNC connection is soon terminated by the Nano. I cannot use rlogin or ssh at all.
Wifi shows as working correctly on the Nano. I am using the micro SD card that came with the kit with no changes. I am very familiar with Ubuntu Linux.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Geoffrey
I should point out that I have no problems with VNC on 3 RPis on the network. And I notice that when I boot up the Nano the OLED shows no internet, but the screen shows I am connected to my Wifi . Is there a service that I need to start? I am running my VNC client on an up to date Windows 10 machine.
Additional information. The ability to access the Jupyter lab works with Ethernet at 192.168.0.247:8888 when the ethernet cables is plugged into the Nano. While the ethernet cable is plugged in the Wifi works at 192.168.0.160:8888 which is the wlan0 address shown on the OLED. The second that I unplug the ethernet cable my wifi dies, although the OLED shows that it is still functional. BTW the OLED does correctly show the status of the ethernet connection. I am totally baffled. And I can make the robot move with either Wifi or ethernet when the ethernet cable is plugged in.
I am somewhat disappointed that no one from Sparkfun Technical Support has reacted to this post. I had thought that by now someone from TS would have had a suggestion. The kit is useless without being able to use Wifi with it.

That sounds like technical functions and programs specific to the operating system. Reading through SparkFun’s guides it seems that the OS is all Nvidia’s deal. Nvidia should be able to help way more than SparkFun since SparkFun just did the accessories and not the actual Jetson Nano or OS.
You might try Nvidia’s Jetson forums. They would probably have someone that can walk you through setting things up in the operating system.
