My PC (linux) does not have a Par port, is anybody working on a
cheap USB JTAG programmer for Atmel sam7 arm processors?
Speed is not as important as cost.

we have such project in progress, no fixed release date though 
meantime we’ve designed one such USB-JTAG for Rowley and now have lot in production, they will give it away with each CrossWork sale → Paul told me that the programming speed with their IDE is over 100KB/sec
