Large Digit Display with Teensy LC

I have been successfully using two large digit displays with the Sparkfun Redboard. Works fine. I would also like to make it work with the Teensy LC or 3.2. I am using a Sparkfun Teensy adapter board and having no luck. Just weird digits. Any insight as to what is not happening?

BTW: I am also using aogic converter on the 3.3V Teensy pins.

Are you sure your code and connections agree with each other?

If you send the digit 8, what comes up on the display?

If you could post some photos of the top and bottom of your board and a photo of your connections to the digit drivers that would help too.
