I knew that the wire leads to the laser were sensitive (from the comments), so I used lots of epoxy putty for strain relief. Maybe a bit too much putty.
It is hard to see from my crude photos, but there is a momentary contact switch on the side of the ring, activated with your thumb.
Needs to have a shark head on it…so you can have freekin’ sharks with freekin’ lasers on their foreheads…

Looks like you work with LEDs a lot! What are those round tins on the desk? They look great for projects.

The tins are Lee Valley watchmaker cases, the 48mm size
