Hi,

I purchased one of the SMT conenctors for this module from Sparkfun as it was the only connector I could find on the site. It’s going to be difficult to use that for development on breadboard. There is a version with a ribbon cable on it. Does anyone know where I can get one? I’m in the UK.

On another note (maybe this should be 2 threads), has anyone tried recieving from this to a 5v processor (basicx) without a 3.3v level converter? Assuming logic 1 if anything above 2.5 volts, this should still work right? We just won’t be able to transmit unless we have a voltage divider or somthing on the tx pin?

I did the following and it works great.

just slide a verry thin isolated wire over the pin. First you make a small pilothole in the core of the wire, and slide it over the pin.
