LCD-16397 I2C pull up jumpers - where are they?

The OpenLCD firmware has a comment

 The OpenLCD has 4.7k pull up resistors on SDA and SCL. If you have other devices on the
 I2C bus then you may want to disable the pull up resistors by clearing the PU (pull up) jumper.

Where is this PU jumper? I dont see any schematic showing it and I cant find it mentioned anywhere else in the firmware.

R6 and R7 on the backside of the screen/board…are you having an issue?

To answer your question - yes and no - I am writing to the display every two seconds and occasional writes are failing. I already have pull up resistors on the board so I was going to see if removing these helps this intermittent issue
