LG290P postcard correct firmware update procedure....see sats etc using QGNSS

Download the latest version of LG290P firmware from Quectel, need account

Connect to postcard with QGNSS with posted settings

Click on tools
firmware update

browse to your file
LG290P03AANR01A05S.pkg

Then while this window is still open, click on the reboot button at the top, it’s a circle with an arrow, then quickly hit the green play button on the firmware update window

Wait for update success message.

cycle power

you will see the version when it first connects if you look in the messages

$PQTMVER,1,MODULE,LG290P03AANR01A05S,2025/05/08,16:23:00*39

If you don’t see sattelits in QGNSS

go to setting
preferences

You need to open a Quectel account and download LG290P03AANR01A05S.pkg from Quectel’s official website.
