Hello!
Im a real beginner at this, and wanted to start of by doing a project where i build a fairly mobile cart/stand that have a RFID reader range of aprox 2m (6.5ft) that’s being controlled by an Arduino or similar and send data of the recognised tags within the range on a minute to minute basis.
First of, is this possible? 
and secondly, is there any RFID reader that can read in that range that is fairly small?
i’ve found some stuff on Alibaba that is huge and weighs in at 2-3kg (6lbs), it could work, but just wondering if i can find any smaller.
