Can you do an LPC1102 breakout board (to, say, a DIP14 footprint) without totally obliterating the supposed low-cost nature of the CPU ?
(LPC1102 is a low-end ARM CM0 microcontroller aimed at the 8bit market (supposedly.) It comes in a 16ball micro-BGA (0.5mm pitch) package that I sure can’t deal with…)
This is a killer idea. If somebody will put an ARM on DIP40 footprint, it will be an instant hit. Actually it is essential for ARM to gain the interests of hobbyists.
