ARM processors in PDIP form?

Just wanted to try out with my breadboard rather with proto/breakout board. Thx.

I don’t know if ARM based microcontroller in PDIP package exist.

You may try something like this: http://www.olimex.com/dev/lpc-h40.html

It is just like a PDIP ARM.

The Luminary Cortex ARM chips are available in 28-lead SOIC, which isn’t hard to work with. They could be mounted upside down on a scrap of PCB laminate “dead bug” style, and the leads connected with thin wire. Alternatively, it would be quite easy to design a little DIL carrier PCB for one of the chips so it could be plugged into a breadboard.
