LPC236x reference designs?

Hello,

I am starting to work with an LPC 2368 on the Keil MCB2300, but I am wanting to develop my own board. I can’t find any good reference designs online. The Keil board’s schematics are limited and doesn’t look like it shows everything.

Is there any place where I can find more designs for this board?

I had not seen that board yet. Where do they usually have schematics? I didn’t see one for the other LPC board they had.

They just went on sale today. I’m assuming that the schematics are on the CD that comes with the board. I have one of their 2103 boards, I guess thats where I got the schematics for it.

I do have a question about IDEs. I’m trying to pick between IAR, Crossworks, and Keil.

I’m a little biased toward Keil after choosing their dev board and all plus the fact that they are ARM, but I’ve been reading all kind of stuff online and I’m just not sure what to do.

In particular, the JTAG programmer is a big question for me. Is the ULINK2 from Keil compatible at all with IAR or CrossWorks? I noticed that there was a IAR J-Link that costs 800 bucks. What is the difference between these programmers?

I am not really looking for any RTOS or anything, but the few things I am trying to do including Ehternet, and task scheduling (or sudo mutli threading).

I am looking for a cost effective system that I could get up and running quickly with. I’m just not sure really what to look for or how to choose.

Hmm i ended up canceling my order from futurlec today because they still haven’t shipped anything out. Perhaps the board isn’t actually done/working yet?

I ended up with the keil MCB2300 as well as IAR’s new 2468 development board. Haven’t touched the IAR one yet but keils board is really well done and easy to work with.

I use CrossWorks with their CrossConnect. The IDE is excellent (very good simulator and debugger) and support is very good.
