I’ve built prototype board with LPC2378.
The first test under IAR EWARM 4.40 and Wiggler programmer was not successful.
Next I’ve decided to test it with OCD Commander and H-JTAG.
None of the software can’t detect the chip.
I’ve got a message:
Unable to find target. Please make sure that the hardware is properly connected and power up.
After a few failures in communication with my new chip,
I’ve noticed that after connection wiggler with the chip,
the current consumption by the chip drops to a value about zero.
I think the chip was in reset state.
I made an experiment.
I disconnected the SRST reset line from JTAG socket
and also removed jumper TRST from my JTAG Wiggler clone.
After that everything works fine.
Why it was necessary to disconnect SRST line?
Do you have any problems with programming and debugging LPC2378 chip?
Does it really work with clock speed up to 72MHz?
