LUZ LED AS27263 / TRANSMITANCIA

  1. Is the LED on the SparkFun NIR AS7263 sensor a NIR (Near-Infrared) LED with a specific wavelength range, or is it simply an indicator LED?

  2. Can the SparkFun NIR AS7263 sensor be used for transmittance measurements if configured appropriately?

Thanks,

• 6 near-IR channels: 610nm, 680nm, 730nm, 760nm,
810nm and 860nm, each with 20nm FWHM

Sure, but we won’t have much advice for such

Me refiero al led del sensor AS7263, que tipo de Led o modelo es ya que no se indica en el datasheet

  1. A visible LED is not an NIR LED. Single-color (IR,R,Y,G,B etc.) LEDs typically have narrow emission bandwidths (20-30 nm).
  2. Transmittance (T) can be calculated from absorbance (A) and vice versa. For the most common definitions, see
