Hi!

We are using sparkfun’s M6E Nano RFID reader and we get this error message when trying to get connected to universal reader assistant. We don’t have wifi on and device is not in use and there is no software stored inside.

We need help getting connected. We can also see that the USB is visible on devise

did you install the CH340 driver ?

have you changed the jumper on the CH340 from 3v3 to 5V ?

Yes we have downloaded the CH341SER.INF driver. not sure how to check the second thing. So can you help on that?

Yes we have and still not working.

unplug the M6E and make a loop back connection on the CH340. There are several articles on the internet to test a com port e.g. https://www.dpstele.com/rtu/support/tro … r-test.php
